April and Liz’s support and validation was so incredibly helpful and normalizing! Taking this course allowed me to look closer at the roadblocks impacting my ability to get my case notes done. Their materials [ ] and encouragement were essential to me moving past my roadblocks. I have never been this on top of my current notes before and never this confident that I will be able to tackle my backlog in the future!
Chie S. Asia
This course helped me finish notes on time and think about how I wanted to run my practice and balance my personal and professional time. Liz and April created a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where I slowly but surely changed my work habits and admin tasks, which made a huge difference. I need to continue working to reach my goals, but I am hopeful I can now do that “with Ease.”
Liz and April’s course gave me so much understanding of the WHY behind my struggles with note writing.
The materials and courses each week were so valuable! I would highly recommend this course to any of my colleagues.
Meet Your Sensitive Supporters:
Liz Gray, LCSW, RPT
Liz is a Chicago-based psychotherapist, consultant, and coach who helps Sensitive Therapists organize their physical, mental, and emotional spaces while working through barriers to success.
Nicknamed the “Organization Queen,” Liz is happiest color-coding spreadsheets, creating folders and binders, and helping therapists reset their systems to decrease overwhelm.
Having worked in schools, agencies, group, and private practice, Liz understands what it feels like to have no energy after 8-10 hour workdays. Previously having to decide if she would rather eat, sleep, or write notes, she is happily caught up on notes and has time to eat and sleep as well!
April Snow, LMFT
April is a psychotherapist, consultant, and author in California inspiring Sensitive Therapists to think outside the box to create sustainable practices. She relieves stress with organization and loves creating order out of chaos.
In her various managerial roles over the past 15 years including the admin manager for a quickly growing non-profit counseling center, she has created the systems needed for everything to run smoothly.
Although she is very conscientious, there was a time when April was months behind on notes. For the past few years, she has consistently finished her notes every day and can now write a note in under 5 minutes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FOREVER! Once you purchase the self-paced course, you will have access indefinitely. Are you so busy that you have to work through the materials at a snail’s pace? No problem. Want to repeat the exercises multiple times? Go for it! The best part is… when we add new materials, you will get immediate access to the updates!
What happens after I purchase the course?
As soon as you pay, you will be enrolled in the Teachable course, Writing Notes with Ease. This is a self-paced course with videos, trainings, handouts, worksheets, and a clear roadmap to setting up your notes system and tackling your backlog.
What makes this different from other similar programs?
As HSTs ourselves, we understand the nuances and intricacies of our heart-centered work that makes it so difficult to translate into words. We carefully crafted our offering to include many opportunities for connection and reflection, as that is at the center of our work as therapists and coaches.
Do you provide training on standards for being audited or subpoenaed?
Although we are happy to provide resources for determining medical necessity (such as Zur Institute), the focus of this course is more about the process of writing notes and finding a sustainable system that works for you. When in doubt, check the requirements of your state’s licensing board, your liability insurance, and your insurance contracts (if applicable).
I'm on the fence... How do I know if it's right for me?
If you are unsure if this is the right program for you, you are welcome to contact Liz at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be happy to ease your concerns and help you decide if it’s the right fit for you!
